Leviticus

God as the Judge of This WorldLeviticus 26 - 27

Bible

This week we will conclude our study of Leviticus by reviewing some of the key things we have learned during our study and through reading Chapters 26 and 27 and seeing God as the Judge of this world.

Read Chapters 26 and 27; then answer the following:

  1. List three key things that you have learned from our study of Leviticus. They can be things that you learned about yourself, about God, Christ, His Holy Nation Israel, His Tabernacle – whatever or however God spoke to you during this study. List three things you can share with the class.
  2. Select one passage from the book of Hebrews and explain what you have learned about it through our study of Leviticus.
  3. What conclusions can we draw about being a Christian in today’s world, in light of God’s command to be Holy as He is Holy?
  4. What can we learn about God from Chapters 26 and 27 of Leviticus?
  5. What book of the New Testament illustrates God’s coming judgments on this unholy land and its people? Can you identify any similarities between Chapters 26 and 27 in Leviticus and God’s coming judgments?

As we conclude this study, my prayer is that all of us will have a deeper understanding of God’s expectations of us as His Holy People. I pray that your commitment to become that holy person, doing everything pleasing in God’s eyes, will be equally as deep.

May God richly bless you this week. Thanks for studying with us.

Yours in Christ,

Wes
