Confessions of a Winner
"Although we may not be talented, God has given us everything that we need to be a winner!"
When it comes to talent, I ain't got much, Never wealthy. . .never had the Midas touch. In sports, I tried every kind. But my star spot I could not find!
As a scholar, had an awful time. Everything for me. . .an uphill climb. Nothing worked, but oh I’d try. But success just passed me by.
But, I’m as content as you can see. ‘Cause something wonderful happened to me! I accepted Jesus as my savior, He saved this sinner, Now I am His and He made me a winner!
Now do I have talent? No, still not much. Though now I have the Master’s touch! Still not good in sports or scholarship, But He snatched me from the sin’s death grip!
With Jesus in control, life’s really grand. As I’m walking with Jesus hand in hand. Jesus in my heart just makes me sing. ‘Cause now I’m a winner in everything!
Greater is in me than in the Earth Success is mine since my rebirth! Still no talent, still not smart But I have Jesus in my heart He came in and saved this sinner Now I am His. . .and he made me a winner!!
