Lesson 24 w/AnswersIsaiah’s Prophecies (Part 1)

In this lesson, we continue our look at the Prophet Isaiah and some of his prophecies. Many scholars will point to the writings that occur from Chapter 40 through the rest of the book (Chapter 66) as evidence that someone other than Isaiah must have written these passages. They base this on the fact that the perspective of these chapters and many of the references in them occur later than Isaiah’s time.

In our next lesson, we will conclude our look at Isaiah with a look at chapters 54 and 60, his prophecies about the coming of a New Jerusalem and Christ’s millennium kingdom. While Isaiah’s prophecies warned of the coming destruction of the kingdom of Judah by the Babylonians, he also prophesied about the Messiah who is to come and the kingdom that He will establish. As such, we will examine the Messiah’s coming and the establishment of His earthly throne.

Thanks for studying with us, and have a great week everyone.
