Although I’m in this world, I’m set apart Because I have Jesus in my heart. Yes, Jesus is alive, alive you see I know Jesus is alive, ‘cause He’s livin’ in me!
To atone for sin, His blood was shed In three short days He was raised from the dead. He paid the price for you and me When He died there on Calvary. But He’s alive, alive you see I know He’s alive, ‘cause He’s livin’ in me!
He bore my sins, oh what a friend He gave me life that has no end. They nailed His hands and pierced His side To give me life, my Savior died. But Jesus is alive, alive you see I know He’s alive, ‘cause He’s livin’ in me!
Through health, wealth, yes even pain I have a peace and joy I can’t explain. There is no fear even in the darkest day Jesus is the Beacon that lights my way. Because He’s alive, alive you see I know Jesus is alive, ‘cause He’s livin’ in me!
Now, hear my shout! Heed my claim! Salvation comes by only one name! So open your heart and ask Him in He’ll forgive your every sin. lf all your sin to Him you give He’ll turn it around and you can live.
So ask Him into your heart, that’s all you do And you can have Him livin’ in you Because Jesus is alive, alive you see I know Jesus is alive, ‘cause He’s livin’ in me!!
